Using Thunderbird 38.1, Lightning 4.0.1.2, Provider for Google Calendar 1.0.4. I am displaying 2 google calendars in TB, mine and my wife's, as I do when accessing Google Calendar via the web. On TB however, some, but not all, of my events (never my wife's) show up twice on the calendar display on the right side of the screen. If I click on these duplicated events, one shows the "Calendar:" as my google calendar name and the other shows "Calendar:" as "me". Any suggestions how I get rid of one or the other (preferably "me")? TIA.

After deinstalling & reinstalling both addons to no avail, eventually I went tools->advanced->config editor & searched for "google". I found two calendar-registry entries for my calendar but only one for my wife's (plus one for a holiday calendar I wasn't subscribed to in Google Calendar any more). I rest the holiday calendar entry and one of the two for my calendar, restarted TB & now all seems ok.
