I have just upgraded to Thunderbird 38.2.0 on Mac OS 10.10.4. Everything was working fine until this upgrade. Now I cannot access my mail at Time Warner, domain twc.com

I appreciate the info but it's not fixed yet! I have no idea why, but maybe some Mac-specific info is needed?

Check if your Firewall is blocking TB 38.2. Some firewalls think an update is a new program. Keys less than 1024 is not allowed anymore,(Logjam - vulnerability) so if you changed from pre 38 to 38.2 this could be the case.

Logjam/weak Diffie-Hellman key Check the error console. Look for: Error: An error occurred during a connection to [domain]:[port] Cannot communicate securely with peer: no common encryption algorithm(s). (Error code: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap)
