I think it is an issue from your webmail or e-mail client, not really Firefox. If you are using Thunderbird, maybe we can help you. Otherwise I suggest you to consult help from your webmail service provider.

Check Junk Controls: Tools > Account Settings > Junk Settings for the mail account or right click on mail account and select 'Settings' then select 'Junk settings for the mail account

Select : 'enable adaptive junk mail controls for this account' Then select the 'address books' which you want to act as a 'whitelist'

AS emails are already going to 'Junk' folder, this option must already be selected. click on OK
