The 8/27 update eliminated all my saved messages I had parked across the top of the email main window. Is there any way to recover them? Some are very important!

The recent automatic Thunderbird update eliminated all the emails tabs I've parked at the top of the main email window (parked to the right of where it says 'inbox' and above where it says 'File' 'Edit' 'View' 'Go', etc) . I have important emails that need my attention and I can't remember what they are, nor do I want to search through the 1000's of emails I've accumulated. Is there any way to recover them?!

across the top? That is a list of open mails and as such no one can guarantee that open mails will not be closed. Everything is still in the original mail folder.
