I followed Thunderbird's instructions to set up file link with Box to send large files by email. I have registered with Box and have an account. However, I never get beyond the authorisation check. When the Box box pops up to authorise Thunderbird to access files and folders on Box, I authorise and then Thunderbird comes with "check authorisation..." and gets stuck there forever. I have not been able to set up file link using Box.

Any ideas what's wrong?

go to the box web site and log in. Delete the Thunderbird folder on box. Try again.

I think that is the workaround I get from reading bug 1045845 and bug 1085006

Tried that, but it's every time the same when I start the process again: Thunderbird gets stuck at the authorisation, and when I try to link files, Box doesn't show up and the files just get stuck in "loading".

Odd, considering that Thunderbird apparently has a deal with Box to link files directly. So currently I can only upload files on Box and then send that link to people to share, can't use it in the email at all.
