Since upgrading to Windows 10 I cannot open hyperlinks in received emails in Thunderbird 38.2.0. I tired everything on the mozilla site except reinstalling Thunderbird. Anyone having this problem?

Thanks. Setting default browser to edge or ie does not work either. Taking pc to local Microsoft store tomorrow to see if they can help since trbl started with upgrade to 10 from 8.1.

went to ms store here. hyperlinks open email ok when I'm looking at msg off of the server directly. ms washed hands of problem. went home to reinstall thunderbird. I was running 38.2 and now 38.3. copied old profile to new version. still having hyperlink problem. might try to uninstall again and try to run off of new profile.

No luck. I went to the mozilla forum and found another posting where the user has the same problem. He says it started with Thunderbird 38.0.1. His problem is also unresolved despite all that he has tried.

please try safe mode with networking on Windows 10. For instructions see option 1 here http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2304-safe-mode-start-windows-10-a.html

Safe mode restart with add-ons disabled no help. I also have Thunderbird loaded on an desktop as a backup when my laptop gives me problems. It is running windows 7 64 pro. That one is on release 38.1.0 and it it appears to have the same problem. I'm going to try a clean load on it without using my saved profile and see what happens.
