Apparently Firefox is getting slower and slower with each new version and I just don't know why and I just don't like it as it's very annoying.

Here is some information about my computer:

I am using a Lenovo ThinkPad X220i with a copy of Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit SP1.

Operating System Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit SP1

CPU Intel Celeron @ 1.30GHz 69 °C Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology

RAM 2.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 664MHz (9-9-9-24)

Motherboard LENOVO 4290FY8 (CPU) 67 °C

Graphics LCD 1366x768 (1366x768@60Hz) Intel HD Graphics (Lenovo)

Storage 232GB HITACHI HTS543225A7A384 ATA Device (SATA) 37 °C 7GB SanDisk Cruzer Switch USB Device (USB)

Optical Drives No optical disk drives detected

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
