Our users are having trouble when downloading zip files from the server to their client when using Firefox ESR 38.3.0. The zip file is 0 bytes after the download. The zip is created on the server (unix) and always contains the correct data which we can verify on the server side. We had the same users revert to ESR 31.4.0 and the problem has gone away. We had them change their FF setting to never check for updates until we figure out what is causing this. Can you please help? Is the some configuration change that needs to be made between ESR 38.3.0 and ESR 31.4.0 that will fix this issue?

Did you check for issues with user agent detection and try if it works in Firefox 38 with a Firefox 31 user agent?

Is there difference in the server response if you check the HTTP response headers in the Network Monitor?
