Hi,

When I try to navigate to one specific web site (kickass.to) I get NO response. FF does seem to do a little computing and maybe some I/O but there's no other sign that FF has "heard" the interrupt. Reinstall from FF Beta tarball does NOT change the problem.

Both FF Beta and FF Released exhibit this behavior. FF Nightly does not. I do run Nightly from a different ID in order to avoid pollution of the ~/.mozilla... files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

George...

I get redirected to https://kat.cr/, so make sure that you aren't blocking redirects.

You can check the Net log and the Network log in the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) to see if content fails to load or possibly is blocked (file size is zero).

Use Ctrl+F5 or Ctrl+Shift+R to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.
