TB 38.3.0 Address book suddenly empty! Where did the contents go?

I am an up-to-date Window 7 desktop computer. I am an experienced user and have used Thunderbird for several years. I recently tried Windows 10 but do not like it. I reinstalled W7 from a Macrium Reflect image stored on a 1 TB USB drive. All went well. The TB address book was OK but contents disappeared. I have the address book on my Laptop copy of TB but would like to determine what happened and fix it.

Can you tell me more about "The TB address book was OK but contents disappeared"? What do you mean by "OK"?
