Site is mistaken for junk
There is a site that thunderbird thinks is junk and it ends up in my trash folder. How do i allow it into my inbox

There are several things you can do.
It may be a simple as telling Thunderbird not to mark a message as junk if the address is in an address book, or possibly a simple filter to mark the mail as 'not junk' to the drastic 'reset training data' which will reset Thunderbird's Bayesian Filtering.
