I have Nightly 45.0a1 and have tried installing Adobe Flash Player from the main site using the installer; however, it does not show up in the plugins menu and I can not enable it. The only reason I need it is for Twitch.tv, so if there is an alternative that uses HTML5 (I tried HLS. Does not work) then that would be awesome :).

Is the version of nightly you are running 32bit or 64bit?

Try to disable multi-process tabs in the Firefox Options/Preferences.

Still did not help. Plus I love multi-process.

Any information?

You need a 64 bit Flash plugin for the 64 bit Firefox version. Note that Flash is the only plugin that has been whitelisted for 64 bit Firefox versions.

I only wonder why I see a 32 bit Google Chrome user agent (WOW64 instead of Win64).

  • User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/46.0.2490.80 Safari/537.36

Doesn't Google Chrome come as a 64 bit version?

For 64-bit (Win64) on Windows that is.
