Hi. You may recognize my username as the guy is is constantly plagued by problems with Firefox. Here's the browser's latest blunder:

I downloaded an NZB file and went to "Open With: Other" and selected GetNZB. From that point onward, the selection box automatically highlighted GetNZB even though WinRar was the default program. It didn't prevent me from using WinRar, but I had to take the time to select it, which before was unnecessary, so I found this extremely irritating. I decided to uninstall GetNZB to solve the problem.

Guess what? It didn't. Now the box is BLANK by default. I had the add-on "Save File to" so I removed it. It made no difference. I followed a tutorial to reset download actions. It made no difference. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and I should just be able to open with WinRar in one click.

I'm sorry if I sound rude, but years of being dumped on by technology has taken its toll.

All right, I apologize. I think I figured it out. I had to delete mimeTypes.rdf and it seems to be working now.
