How to disable banner?

For the past few days or so since I upgraded to Firefox 42 every time I open Firefox on the desktop, after a few minutes while I'm already deep into reading a web page, a white banner slides down the top of the tab telling my I can sync bookmarks and passwords with Firefox for iOS and Android. Nice to know, but I don't need to constantly be reminded. I'm not interested in this feature and the "reminder" just won't go away. It's *very* annoying.

Is there a way to disable this or do I have to go back to Firefox 41?
