Chosen solution

Win64 Firefox 42.0 Release only has the 64-bit Flash Player Plugin white listed. For the upcoming Win64 Firefox 43.0 Release or the 43.0 Beta builds you are Testing, the 64-bit Silverlight Plugin is white listed now also.

If you want to use other Plugins in Firefox on Windows you need 32-bit Firefox builds and 32-bit Plugins.
