Firefox crashes
So I can open firefox fine, but when i close firefox and want to open it back up I get an error message stating its already running and not responding, click okay and it restarts. I noticed that in the processes firefox is still running even though the window has been closed. I have tried everything to get this issue resolved- disabled all apps, try to start in safe mode (it wont because it wont re open just crashes). I have removed fire fox and did a clean install, checked all drivers are up to date.

Are you using Skype. Disable / update it.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
I started it in safe mode, closed out firefox then went to re open it and still get the same message. I have to manually go to task manager and end task for firefox, to reopen it without any issues.
I am not using skype.
John- I went through all the steps already and no change.
Hi, how are you closing down FF, by using the X in the top right corner of the page or using the File, Exit, which you should be using? I sometimes get that message, when I go back to open FF too quickly.
You can check the Processes tab in the Windows Task Manager to how long it takes for Firefox to close.

I am using the X like i always have been- seem to have started with the latest firefox update.
I tried using the file exit and did the same thing.
I also closed firefox and hd the task manager open to see how long it takes for it to close- It list Firefox under apps when it is actually open when using it. But when i close firefox window it shows up in background processes still running, this take about 1 min before i end up getting an error window.
I attached the image showing the error and firefox background process disappeared.
