I have recently installed Firefox onto my iMac. I am now having problems accessing websites with an error message 'Your connection is not secure' I have Avast antivirus software installed. If I disable the Avast Web shield I am able to access websites but, not when the Avast webshield is on and protecting my pc.

Can you please advise?

Thanks.

You may have enabled SSL scanning in your security software such as Avast, Bitdefender, ESET or Kaspersky. Try to disable this option. More details about this are available in the support article How to troubleshoot security error codes on secure websites.

Hope that helps.
