when i push the shift button, the page reloads--even though i don't use the 'r' key. the ctrl button makes the page zoom out, even though i am not using + or -

this problem does not happen in a different browser. i have also tried a different keyboard, but have the same problem. reloading firefox without addons does not solve the problem.

Thank you for the response.

It turns out that it was a mouse problem. Apparently the scroll button was dirty and sending constant down signals.
