When using Firefox as my browser, if the name Trump appears anywhere it gets changed to "Drumph" which I understand is the Trump Family's original name. The change takes place a split second after the name Trump appears on the screen. This does not happen with Internet Explorer or with Google Chrome. I've run a number of virus/malware removal programs to no avail....any suggestions?

You have an extension named "Drumpfinator Make Trump Drumpf Again" which somehow was installed into your Firefox. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/drumpfinator-trump-drumpf/

Does anyone with a strange sense of humor have access to your computer?

Anyway, you can view, disable, and usually remove nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then cast a critical eye over the items on the right side.

Often a link will appear above at least one extension you designate to Disable or Remove to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.

Well that certainly is one of the more humorous Extensions I have seen in a while.

Thanks jscher2000.....yes, a son-in-law who would not only know how to create that extension but who would also think it was a laugh riot. I've followed your suggestion, found and deleted the offending extension and now only need to restart my computer. If he had waited till April 1st. I would have been more amused.
