I've used Mozilla to print shipping labels via eBay for the over 10 years and now the pdf pop-up window that usually opens the label does not show up. Top left corner of the browser shows a pad lock with exclamation mark and when I click it on it says that the connection is not secure and that parts of this page are not secure ( such as images). PLEASE HELP

You can see a special padlock at the left end of the location/address bar.

  • a padlock with a strike through means that mixed active content is blocked.
  • a padlock with an exclamation mark attached means that mixed passive content (e.g. images) is present, but not blocked.

The shield icon, previously used for mixed active content, is now used for Tracking Protection.

You can check the Web Console ("3-bar" menu button or Tools > Web Developer) to see what content (images) this is about. You can filter for mixed to make it easier to find this.

It won't fix. I have a grey lock with orange triangle. It blocks the pdf pop-up. Please help :(

The gray padlock with an exclamation mark attached shouldn't have any impact on the web page because such passive content isn't blocked, but Firefox merely shows that it is detecting its presence. If content is blocked then something else is causing this like an extension or Tracking Protection (shield icon) or security software.

If a pop-up is blocked then you can check the pop-up block settings.

That didn't work either. This is so frustrating. I don't know what to do. I called eBay and they couldn't figure it either. :(
