I'm using a new PC. But I can't remember the Sync password and tried to log in to the Sync. It prompted "Attempt limit exceeded". What long should I wait until this error gone? I want to reset my Sync password and get all my bookmark back. TY

Note that requesting a new password because you forgot it or changing the password for the Firefox Sync account will wipe all data stored on the Sync server and you won't be able to retrieve data that was stored previously.

Do you have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop as the result of using the Refresh feature?

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.
