I have an AOL email account that I access through Thunderbird. When I click on a web link inside an email, it won't open in Firefox, or when it rarely does, it's extremely slow. I have done the refresh on Firefox. Now it says my connection isn't secure, so it won't reopen Firefox.

What security software do you have?

You can try to copy the cert8.db file from the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop that keeps your old profile data to the current profile folder.

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

Thank you for your reply. I turned off my computer for the night, and when I restarted it in the morning, Firefox was working normally, so I really don't know what was causing it. I will save your reply information though, just in case.
