I use https://tools.pingdom.com several times a day. They just redesigned this site and it now locks up FF *UNLESS* FF is in safe mode.

I disabled all add-ons. This page still locks up FF unless I go to it in safe mode.

I then refreshed FF and this page still locks up FF unless I go to it in safe mode.

This last one really surprised me. What's the difference in a newly refreshed FF and FF in safe mode?

Anyway, is anybody else seeing this or have any suggestions?

Added to my question here before I realized I could edit the question itself. Sorry.

Just getting the page to load (or finish loading to be precise) was the problem.

I had already tried both Safe Mode and Refreshing Firefox. Even after refreshing, the page would only load in Safe Mode.

However, turning off (unchecking) Use Hardware Acceleration did the trick.

I guess Safe Mode must automatically turn off Use Hardware Acceleration?

Glad your problem is fixed. Safe surfing.

Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes). If the problem goes away, that tells us one thing. If it does not, that tells us something else.
