There seems to be a bug in the latest firefox release, firefos stops responding and freezes after a very short period of inactivity.

I tried the fix restore button and nothing happened. The problem is on at least 2 of our computers. We have to close the program and then reopen and for a while it works, then stops responding,

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?

The problem continues, if one leaves the computer inactive for a few minutes, firefox stops responding. Operating in safe mode lasts for a little while but the problem continues

Turn off the modem. Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Leave it running overnight. Is the problem still there?
