Need to revert to previous version of thunderbird
Instructions for reverting to previous version include link to all previous versions. Clicking the desired version brings a page of many options that have no meaning to me.

Hope you did not get any extra, hidden software with that download.
Then next page is the language. I would select en-US for US English. If you use a different language you would find that.
Then next page is the .exe file.

You go through the pages picking a version, your operating system and a language and then there will be an .exe file to run the install.
What do I do with this?
Index of /pub/thunderbird/releases/38.5.1/ Type Name Size Last Modified Dir .. Dir contrib/ Dir linux-i686/ Dir linux-x86_64/ Dir mac/ Dir source/ Dir update/ Dir win32/ File KEY 4K 28-Jan-2016 23:45 File SHA512SUMS 241K 07-Jan-2016 14:56 File SHA512SUMS.asc 836 07-Jan-2016 14:56
Choose your operating system. Linux if you use that. Mac if using an Apple Wn32 for Windows
All that does is open another strange list. Meanwhile I just downloaded it directly from a 3rd party website.
