how do i get the event calendar on right hand side - had it before but not coming up on new pc

have had thunderbird reinstalled on a new pc - all the emails are coming up ok but the event calendar that was coming up on right hand side is not coming up - did try to install calendar again and event calendar came up but emails did not

Chosen solution

I noticed that too when installing Thunderbird. I installed a Add-on called "Lightning" and it appears now on the right.
