Unable to add new contacts
When I open up the Address Book on my PC, the whole page or screen contains all the saved addresses. There is nowhere to "Add New Contacts". Also, there is nowhere to add new "Groups". In fact, there does not seem to be any way of editing the address Book. I recently installed Mozilla Thunderbird onto my laptop and I notice that there are tabs for "New Contacts" and "New Lists". The installation on my laptop, when I open the "Address Book", is quite different, with all the editing tools available. Could the installation on my laptop be a latest update? If it is the latest update, can I download and overwrite the previous installation on my PC. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Mike Posford
Chosen solution
Open the address book. Press Alt+V to open the view menu. Select toolbars. Ensure all three are turned on.
Do the same thing in the write window, just so you can have access to everything.
Note the mail window also has view, there may be some toolbars list there like the full menu bar that you might like to turn on.
