hotmail won't connect

I have a Mac. This morning, I click on my link to log onto my hotmail account - "connecting" whizzes around on the tab for a while then error message states "Problem loading page". Internet connection otherwise is OK

Hotmail access today has been hot and miss but accessing it via Safari browser appears to be OK - I have not really made any changes to my computer recently

Hi, delete all references to Hotmail, as shown under the heading 'How do I remove a single website from my history?' in this article - Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox, then try the site (not from an old bookmark) again.
