since this afternoon that it was updated I started to have problems of videos and movies freezing, stopping, not loading or streaming interruptedly, firefox crashing or stopping, sites taking long to load like facebook and pinterest, even though I know that site (pinterest) takes long because of its pictures, but this time it was too much. so I wanted to know if it's my computer that has the problem, is it that I don't meet the requirement with some plugin (if so, which one), or is my computer model too old for the new version? Hope you guys can help me out so I can continue to use and enjoy firefox as before. thanks

v49 and 50 have been having problems.

If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:

  • see if there are updates for your graphics drivers

https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration

  • disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
