I received a notification from Google stating that somebody attempted to sign on to my GMail account. Here is the information that have been able to provide.

New York, NY, USA Yesterday, 7:06 PM

Approximate location (may include nearby towns) Time: Yesterday, 7:06 PM Location: New York, NY, USA Browser: Firefox 47.0 IP address: 172.56.28.151

Two questions:
Have you checked to see if maybe that IP address is your own IP address   ?
To be on the safe side:   have you changed your password   ?
Third question:   did   Google  by any chance give you the advise to use   Chrome   ........   ?
