I'd like to block plugins from being installed using GPO if possible.

So at our school, students are getting around our policy settings for web content by using VPN plugins for Firefox. Is there a way to block plugins from being installed? Would be nice if it was a solution that could be dispursed using a GPO. If not, what's the best solution besides just getting rid of Firefox all together? Thanks in advance!
