Firefox redirects to another site rather than the one I type in the URL...and with no warning.
Yesterday FF (latest version as of this post) would allow to me login to a site but then kick back to the login page once I clicked anything the page. Assume cookie problem but clearing the entire cache and restarting did not resolve. I had to uninstall FF and delete the Firefox folder, then reinstall to correct this.
Now, one day later, Firefox is redirecting to another site which it should not be! (Chrome, IE, Safari all work correctly). I just cleared the freakin cache! How can I trust Firefox when is magically performs unknown redirects and does not even warn me what it is doing. The only suggestions are to clear the cache. Come on guys, we cannot be clearing the cache every time. Don't make become a Chrome user. If this continues I will have no other choice. This clearly this implementation of FF that is bad so what could the browser possibly store that causes it to redirect away from a site that is specifically typed in the URL field. This is all sorts of wrong.

Hi !
That must be so annoying and frustrating !
You may have tried this already, but just in case you haven't:
3-bar menu > Options > Advanced > General > Accessibility >
and check the box that says: 'Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload a page'

What site is it? Can you copy the URL from the address bar and paste it into a reply.
