For the last month or two I have started getting pop-ups from reputable sites which I have used for years. These are not the typical ad pop-ups either, like asking for donations to a site or the like, or even ads for products based on browsing history. These are specifically pop-ups for adult themed or adult suggestive games. Today's most recent one was for a game called Stormfall: age of war, which does not seem to be an actual adult game, but it asks if I'm over 18. It popped up while I was browsing audible.com of all things. I have Adguard installed, and sometimes it seems to catch the popups and either block them or give me a warning screen, but not always. One site I use regularly is Symbolab.com, which is a mathematics help site and calculator that I have been using for 2+ years without issue. It was the first site to start giving me adult game pop-ups, one of which was a game called P***y Saga, the others weren't quite as jarring, so I don't remember what they were. The odd thing is that it is specifically games, not porn sites, not dating sites, just game sites that specifically ask if I am 18. They seem like they may even be legit games, such as Stormfall, not malware or the like. Bitdefender doesn't detect any malware or viruses present, nor does Windows MSRT. I'm at a loss as to what changed to cause this to start. I'm the only one on this computer and my browsing habits have not changed recently. Firefox is up to date, and I only install updates directly from Mozilla, never from pop-ups. Any Ideas as to the possible cause would be greatly appreciated.

You may have ad / mal-ware. Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
