Installing Javascript toggle on/off has caused Gmail to quit working in Firefox.

I'm using Firefox 50.0.1 on OS 10.9.5. I installed the add-on that toggles Javascript on/off. All was well until I accidentally visited my gmail inbox with Javascript off. The page now loads completely blank except for an inert loading progress bar. Turning Javascript on, reloading the page, restarting FF, restarting the computer, creating a new tab, all do nothing. The cluttered HTML version of the inbox works. This page is normal on Chrome, but nothing I can do will make it function again in FF.
