Is it possible to set filters on searching which will eliminate the appearance of unwanted American websites?

e.g I enter a search for a computer component and I might get Amazon.com coming back instead of, or as well as, Amazon.co.uk, the US version of Ebay and so on.

Unless I specifically go looking for American sites, e.g. Intel or similar, I do not wish for US sites to clutter my search results.

Can anyone help please?

Thank you,

Ian

http://mycroftproject.com/ Large selection of custom search engines, many of which are country specific.

Example: Country specific search engines for Amazon are available here: http://mycroftproject.com/amazon-search-plugins.html

Hi the-edmeister

I appreciate your suggestion but I am quite happy to use the search-box in Firefox and/or DuckDuckGo. I just want some means by which, if there is a postal address, $ money sign, or anything else which indicates or suggests it is a US site, it can be rejected.

Regards,

Ian
