Retrieving emails used to take 30 seconds, now takes 3-4 minutes (yahoo? outlook?)

Before about 6-7 weeks ago, clicking the "Get messages" button would send my login and retrieve my messages in less than thirty seconds. Now it is taking 3 to 4 minutes to perform the same function. AT&T says it must be in Thunderbird but then, they always blame problems on somebody else. I personally thinkk it's either AT&T or Yahoo but they say not.

Thanks, Wayne I'm pretty sure it's Yahoo but they won't admit anything....say it's Thunderbird. I don't have and never will have an outlook account.
