Password rejected although I'm sure it is correct, password reset page does move to register completion possibly because I only have one device.
I need to edit my current Firefox pop.orange email address because it has officially lost its support, although some emails are still getting through.
I cannot log on to do this because my password is rejected, although I'm fairly confident it is correct. I applied for a password reset, but when I fill in the reset password page it does not move on to completion, possibly because it is waiting for me to sync other devices which I don't have.
I would be really grateful for advice.

You currently can't edit/change the email address of the Firefox Sync account if that is what your question is about. The only option is to create a new Sync account with a working email address that you can confirm. You need to change this new Sync account on all connected devices. Best it to connect one device at the time and give it enough time to finish the initial Sync.

Thank you for your prompt and useful advice. My password reset confirmation eventually did come through. I had found a support article for changing an email address, but it related to Support only so I am creating another account as you suggest.
