the inbox may be corrupted or there is no more disk space available for it. do a check disk to re-index you master file table. then double check your disk space. alternatively, you could temporarily disable that inbox so that it cant send or received. then create a new inbox and see if it acts better. tip: while i no longer recall, i think email boxes that are located in a user profile is not a good thing. in the past, windows user profiles would crash and take everything in it, with it. (for me, its second nature to create and use separate partitions dedeicated email boxes, doc's, pic's and downloads. i dont care how much MS wants us to trust windows) so another inbox trick, is to move it out of the user profile - especially if you are the only user on the machine.
