When i listen to music in windows media player while i'm surfing with firefox, WMP pauses automatically when firefox got any sound. Sometimes it's handy, i.e. when i'm on youtube and i select a video to watch, WMP pauses as the video starts. But mostly it's annoying, i.e. if i got a new notification/chat on facebook. WMP just get silent for every bling/beeb/sound coming out of firefox (and resume playing when there isn't sound, i.e. a second of buffering on youtube. I've tested and the problem does not happen in chrome, so it must be a firefox thing... I've went trough the settings, but i can't find something that gives firefox some priority or something. This problem started today, and i haven't change something to my computer overnight. How can i fix this?

Maybe check the Sound settings:

  • Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound -> Communications
