Whenever I open Firefox, it opens the homepage correctly. When I open a new tab, from the Tabs Bar, it will show that it is selected but the webpage currently being displayed is the previous one. In order to switch to that new Tab, I have to close the preceding tabs. The issue is resolved temporarily by going to Help > Restart with Addons Disabled... When Firefox restarts it asks me to whether restart into Safe Mode or with Addons Disabled. I choose neither of these options and click the close button, hence therefore Firefox completely gets shutdown. This moment, I go to Start and open Firefox again, everything is good now.

The issue pop ups again whenever I restart my computer so I have to repeat the same procedure again.

The notable thing is that I don't think that an addon would be messy because I don't really open up firefox without addons, and it still works. Any issues.

You have some tab related extensions like Tab Mix Plus that could be causing issues. You can try to disable some of these extensions to see if that has effect.
