Hi,

I have a « bug » with the lightning module of Thunderbird. For all new installation of this module on Thunderbird, there is a display bug. On the left there is the column of calendar wich stay always even if I am on the “courier” tab. When I am to “agenda” tab I can’t display the day, the week and month. ( look at picture 1 )

Also, and it’s the most important problem, I can’t create or import a new calendar. I tried different kind for create or import calendar : “fichier, importer un agenda” or “nouveau, agenda” or “ouvrir, fichier d’agenda, agenda .ics or agenda html” but it doesn’t match. ( look at picture 2 )

I work on enterprise systems and I have to use an old version of lightning and only this one, the same for Thunderbird. Thunderbird version : 2.0.0.24 Lightning version : 0.8 Did someone have this problem with this module?

Thank for your help

I work on enterprise systems and I have to use an old version of lightning and only this one, the same for Thunderbird.

Why?

The rules of the enterprise force us to use this version ( security issues ). This is probably the main problem here.. we're not allowed to update to a more recent version.

I didn't find any clue to resolve my problem, this is why i post a question on this forum.

Can anyone help me?

The security issue is that you're running such an old version.

It doesn't make any sense to spend time troubleshooting your problem while you're on the ancient version. Update to the latest version, and report back when the problem still exists.

Beyond that you can try to disable any other extensions you may have installed, and see if that makes a difference.
