2 plus years of emails in the inbox disappeared within the last 90 minutes
About two and a half hours ago many of my emails in my Inbox of Thunderbird 52.2.1 disappeared.
Missing emails from:
April 7, 2014 through September 20, 2015
September 20 2015 through July 24, 2017
July 25, 2017 through now.
At 9:42 am this morning I replied to an email that was received yesterday, but is now one of the missing emails. (The reply is not missing, the original email is.)
I discovered this at about 11:15 am, about 45 minutes after sending the 9:42 am an email.
What in the world do I do now? I closed Thunderbird and reopened it to no avail.
Can someone please help?

These are all stored in your Inbox? Is the account IMAP or POP?
Yes, they are all stored in my inbox. (pop3) pop.earthlink.net:110
Same issue. All inbox disappeared before my eyes and no new emails display. All other folders intact. All emails including new ones since this incident (yesterday) appear on my Android phone.
