New emails in list are not visible. I have to scroll down to see them. Can this be modified to have them appear in list box?

My inbox email list box is set to show about 7 msgs, the rest of the window shows the current selected msg details. Any new msgs that are automatically downloaded are not displayed as visible in the list box. To see new msg headers, i have to scroll down to make them appear in the list box. Is there a way to make new msgs the 'visible priority'?

I use View|Folders|Unread.

You could sort by date, or sort on Unread. Click on the column headings to sort. Click again to reverse the sorting order.

I also empty my Inbox by filing messages into their own folders. This means the messages that I see in Inbox are essentially new and unread.
