For the last few months or so, the favicons have been drawing very slowly on my Bookmarks drop-down menu. I can let them all draw in, close the menu and then they have to start drawing from the top down all over again. Very annoying as I use favicons to recognize sites I want to go to at a glance. Even more annoying is that if I open up Bookmarks > Show all bookmarks > Bookmarks Menu all the favicons are there instantly, no drawing. So y'all must have some bad code when it comes to drawing the actual drop down menu. Please fix.

Is that only happening in the Bookmarks menu drop-down list or also in the sidebar and in the "Show your bookmarks" drop-down list (button next to the star)?

The Bookmarks menu is under control of the Mac OS X, so if it only happens there then maybe ask about this at a Mac oriented forum.

Only in the Bookmarks drop down. Curious that it didn't do this before a few versions ago if it's the Mac OS X responsibility though? And Chrome doesn't do it with the same set of bookmarks also from the top menu drop down? If it's under the control of the OS, then something Firefox is doing must be slowing down the OS's responsiveness to it.

Did you check for issues caused by security software in case you weren't using this before?
