thunderbird is crashing a lot how do i fix

initially couldn't get the login box so accesss to server was denied...still not showing access box, altho i think i fixed the configuration...the server is allowing access...but somehow i ended up creating another account...same email address and password...and due to other issues with my laptop, i had windows 10 installed... not sure what's related to what, but thunderbird is crashing almost every time i click a link in a message... can i eliminate the crashing? can i eliminate one of the email account without messing up or deleting the other (they're exactly the same) any guidance will be appreciated. thanks!

In order to help you out with crashes to pinpoint the actual problem rather than doing some guesses (so to speak), we need some crash report IDs. Please see the Thunderbird crashes article and the Viewinging crash reports section in the Mozilla Crash Reporter for Thunderbird article for general steps to avoid crashes and info on how to submit crash reports here if the steps don’t help.
