Why is my Dragon extension for Firefox continually disabled. Firefox keeps requesting that I restore the extension. I am handicapped and I find this very annoyi
Dragon Web Extension in Firefox I use Dragon Professional Individual, version 15. It's loaded on the Windows 10 operating system. Every time I use it with the Internet I am supposed to be able to dictate into fields and text boxes, with the assistance of the Dragon web extension (a Nuance product). I prefer using Firefox rather than any other browser like chrome and Internet Explorer where it does work without requesting me every single time to reinstall it. Aside from this, my Dragon product works perfectly in all Microsoft applications.
When I view my extensions Dragon is enabled. And activated always. Yet I keep receiving the request to install Dragon extension.

Would it be possible that you viewed the plugin in the Add-ons > Plugins section, while the Add-ons > Extensions section does not have the extension enabled, or that it’s missing there? And did you actually allow the install?
I don’t know the product but from what I found, it seems Dragon required a (NPAPI) plugin previously while calling it an extension, or it required/installed both (also looking at this question), but just a web extension at this point. This may make sense, as NPAPI plugins are no longer supported in Firefox as of version 52. Therefor I think it should not even be listed under Plugins and if it is, you may need to remove it or set it to "Never activate".
If I install the Dragon web extension from here (current version 15.00.000.058), I only see an extension in the Extensions section with the "Rich internet application support for Dragon" description that can only be enabled or disabled, i.e. not set to "Always activate" which is a choice for plugins.
Hope this helps.

I reinstalled Dragon web extension for Firefox I then went to plug-ins and in the search all add-ons: I typed Dragon and clicked. Dragon web extension appeared I enabled it. I went to extensions and found the Dragon web extension there enabled. I then restarted my computer. I went back to Firefox and tried to dictate in Google search and found that that didn’t work, but when I requested for the dictation box I was able to dictate and say click transfer, which it did. I then went out of Firefox several times and back again and now find that I can use my Dragon this way. Thank you very much for all your help.
I also noticed that Dragon only mentions Internet Explorer and Google Chrome and how to install these extensions. There is no mention of Firefox.
I have this problem too! Here's what I'm using. It worked before I updated Firefox!
