HI there,

I just updated to Tbird 52.3.0 and the feature to manage attachments longer seem to work. I am no longer able to detach or delete attachments. These features appear greyed out and are unavailable Under the "Message" menu or by right clicking on the attachment icons at the bottom of the message. I am able to use the "open" and "save as" functions for attachments but not delete or detach.

Any guidance you can provide would be super appreciated.

Thanks! JV

Chosen solution

First step in this sort of thing is always to try safe mode.

Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.
