Chosen solution

Use the sorting functions. In the traditional menu across the top, or in the Application Menu: View|Sort By.

You'll want Date, Unthreaded and Descending.

You can do the same by clicking on the buttons at the top of the columns.

Date sorted by descending BUT when restarted date is by Ascending !.
