I'm running the latest version of Firefox for the Mac. I've just uninstalled and reinstalled it and still get the same error. It says: "Gah. Your tab just crashed." Creating a new tab gets the same error. Firefox is now unusable." I've attached a screenshot of the error.

I'm using High Sierra (OS X 10.13) on an iMac.

I've gone into preference and tools/add-ons and disabled everything and still get the same error. I then reboot in safe mode and it works without giving me the error. Since I've disabled all extensions and don't have any add-ons, what is the issue? Why does safe mode work and not standard mode?
