Firefox 56.0 and 56.0.1 General Options show as Search Options. Basically there are no other General options, such as homepage, etc. I restarted Firefox in safe mode and get the same result. Also, the Firefox Support link in the Options is not working.

I found a workaround for this issue in another support post:

In Firefox 56 you can set this pref to true on the about:config page to revert to the previous appearance of the Options/Preferences page.

   browser.preferences.useOldOrganization = true
